Baled 850 small square bales and 40 round bales of Alicia Bermuda horse hay yesterday. Hay crew arrived at 6pm and we had the 850 small squares stacked in the barn by 1030 pm. I use a New Holland Stackliner 1033 and just load it up and dump it in the barn and they stack it 12-13 bales high. Was really nice early cut hay with no weeds, sweet smelling and about 12-16 percent moisture. A 16 hour day for me but it got put up dry and it was raining lightly today so the late night work was necessary. I cut it early this year so it can get an early start for the second cutting before the rain stops and the temps go nuclear. Still have about 600 small squares left from 2016 as we had a banner hay production year in East Texas. Still lot of round bales sitting in hay fields and barns from 2016 so it has put a damper on hay prices but that can change with a hot and dry summer in 2017.

If it would just start when I turn the key, then I would use it more often. In addition to a bad case of old age, most of the tractor's original electrical system was simply too unreliable to keep. The main focus of this page is to show how I upgr
