On a Sunday morning, having nothing to do, I scrolled down to the memorial forum. I haven't been down there in a couple of months. There I saw Llunds notation and Sweetfeets message with Gitrib's story. I was wondering if he was still around and if his health was OK. I sure enjoyed his posts on here as I have so many of the good people of this site. It sure makes a person sad to see mention of ones passing but on the other hand it's pretty great to know they are with the love of their lives now. I know that one day I will no longer post on here and maybe someone will wonder what happened to me and have a good thought or two of me. I know I've had some long conversations with Old and a couple others and I don't think I've made anyone too mad at me although I did get that one email from a guy that cussed me out because I didn't want to vote for a certain president for another term about 5 years ago (forgot who he was , it doesn't matter anyhow LOL). My health isn't getting any better and my age isn't getting any younger. Keith

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
