Jim, times have changed, around here anyway. The www says County Line but when you go to the store it's something with no name on it and it has a Behlen Co. instruction manual in the little black tube attached to the unit so I assume Behlen makes them.
I bought a 6' this spring, 54 tines, seemed to be heavy duty enough, and did a lot of www shopping first. Went to TSC as they were local and had 2 of the above in stock, $2k. Bought it, brought it home and put it to work.
I found that there are apparently several manufacturers that have a different way of supporting the structures but get it done anyway. I got mine home and put about 10 acres of Austrian Winter Peas into the soil....soil if you want to call it that; hard Houston Black Clay. Never missed a beat. I did have to wear ear muffs the whole time.
