A number of reasons of course for what has happened .... one being that us North Americans priced ourselves out of the labor market with local manufacturers having to pay outrageous wages so that we could have our swimming pools, red meat with every meal, big cars, cabins at the lake, 40' RV's behind HUGE pickup trucks, holidays to Mexico and Hawaii every year ..... the list goes on and on. All part of our standard of living that had to be better than anyone else in the world. So the manufacturing jobs went elsewhere and now we're complaining. Like I said, lots of other reasons but the one above is certainly one of them.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
