Wrong, a '95 would have the Powerstroke, direct injected turbo engine.
Too bad the truck the OP showed wasn't rust proofed, my '96 went thru 12-13 Wisconsin winters and was Rust-proofed with Auto Armor and has less rust than that '95. I did have a power steering line rust and leak about 4 years ago, fuel line up left front corner of the engine (PSD) rust and leak 3 years ago and brake lines rust and leak 2 years ago. I had all new stainless steel brake lines installed, new calipers, rear wheel cylinders, and master cylinder, and all 3 flex brake lines. If that truck has rust on the p/s lines, fuel lines, brake lines, replace them ALL NOW.
I'd say that '95 is a $10,000 truck. The E4OD is getting close to rebuild time if it's had no work done on it. We need to know if it has 3.55 or 4.10 rear gears. Here in Wisconsin it would need to be 4WD to get that money.

But, on the other hand, there is a secret language that our mechanical companions readily do speak. It is an interesting form of communication that involves all the senses of the listener. In this series we are going to investigate and learn the basic rudimentary skills of understanding this lingo.
