leroy, I turned in three small claims in a 5 year period and my insurance company canceled me. It was next to impossible finding another company to carry me. Unless I have a serious claim, I'LL SUCK IT UP and take the loss.
I also changed my deductible to $1500 knowing I'll eat the small stuff and save on insurance premiums.
I know a co worker who had the same problem. 3 small fender benders, none was their fault, she got dropped too.
The way it works in my area, the power owns everything up to the riser pipe. I own the riser and all wires from that point. If my wires go down, the power company re attaches them. If my barn has a sub panel, it's mine. If my meter is on a pole, pole is mine and the wires going to the meter base are mine. geo
