I had a '51 Dodge 1/2 ton, I think they called that model an "express" rather than a pickup truck ........ dark green ...... a lot of guys changed out the original rear end which was geared so low that highway speed was only about 50 mph in safe mode. I love it when American adults refer to their fathers/dads as "daddy" ..... I think that must be a USA expression since it is seldom if ever used up here in Canada. Somehow it expresses a lot of love for one's father, at least it seems that way to me.
