With the "2 stick" machines, the only difference is that having your right hand on the hydro stick which also contains the header up / down rocker switch on the electro / hydraulic machines. Your hand will be on either the hydro stick or the header up/down stick with the older 2 stick machine. We owned both and did not see enough difference to spend extra for the electro / hydraulic. If anything, the "2 stick" machine had more reliable hydraulics.
