I put LEDs in the two lights that light my garage door. Have had them in for over a year.l On every night, all night and they are working like a champ. Most lights in my house, that are on for any length of time, are now LEDs. I have heard about people buying them for when the others go out. Me, I like saving money NOW!
I have only seen a couple to have failed.
Heck, even on my car and pickup, I am replacing filament bulbs with LEDs. Not as much of a cost savings via better gas mileage but still a good test to see how they last.
