It seems like when we are laid up, all of a sudden those jobs we were ignoring when we were well are now on the top of the list. Then we sit there and brood about it. The one salvation you have right now is you can chat with us while you are sitting around not feeling well. We (the YT community, and you) will keep each other entertained through this ordeal. Marilyn and I have been helping her sister make it through cancer treatments and surgeries for three years now. After being around her situation I know why they put the word 'survivor' in the term Cancer survivor.
Have you heard of genomic testing and treatment for cancer? It's something new and so far not totally proven but it seems to be working for Marilyn's sister. The doctors who were treating her conventionally had told her to get her affairs in order after her breast cancer came back for the third time. Her other sister works at a cancer center where they do this genomic testing and she suggested to give it a try. In genomic treatments they test a person's genes and then mix up a chemo just for that person. After going through chemo made just for her for nine months or so, blood tests show only a fraction of one percent of the cancer is still there and the scans show nothing. I'm not saying you should try this method but it can be another shot at it if conventional chemo isn't cutting it. Good luck.

The year was about 1967 and my father found a good used Ford 601 tractor to use on the farm instead of "Bob", our old mule. Now my grandfather had had this mule since the mid 40's and he was getting some age on him. S
