Hi Pecan, the pump is probably 180 degrees out of time. Put the pump drive hub back to its original place and I hope you scribed a line where the original setting was. Remove the 3 bolts and put a wrench on the pump drive shaft nut and turn the pump 1 rev in the normal direction of travel. Re-install bolts and try starting tractor again. On the pump mounting plate there should be a couple scribe marks with a punch dot that the body of the pump is to be aligned with. In the service manual it tells you how to time the pump using the timing pointer and the front pulley and the internal timing rings in the pump.
