i did that when putting fresh oil in.. Another way is to disconnect the line that the oil filter is plumbed in at the rear of the block and pump oil in.
the line where it splits and goes to gauge and also to filter canister?? If pump fails to prime you may have to consider dropping the pan and look and see if there is other problems. if i have to drop pan, what sort of stuff is there to actaually look for? : GEO thanks for you helpful response.
