Been to a few as a spectator. Race rules are pending how it set up, not sure on rules governing drivers or point system though "battle style" is basically put the cars in a ring and last one running wins.

second car across wins...drivers will stop and try to ram other drivers across to be second across.
Twin drive...passenger runs steering, driver works gas and break(or other way around)
