Just worked on a customer's '73 Loadstar 1600. Very clean, well kept truck. He told me he bought it new, chassis was $3500 and 16 foot stake dump was $2000 installed. It is a 345, 4 speed, with a 2 speed rear, and slower than molasses. He said prices for trucks were all over the board at that point, only bought this one because he felt he was getting a good price. He has a lot of well kept, one owner equipment. He is known around here for how good his older equipment looks.
