If you got liquid fuel in the cylinders, it is severely flooded. Either the carb is flooding, or you used way too much choke.
Take the air filter tube off the carb, chances are fuel will run out. Possibly the needle valve is stuck and letting fuel continue to fill the carb until the bowl overflows. If you turn the fuel valve at the tank on, and fuel drips out of the carb, the needle valve is not closing. If the carb sat with fuel in it, chances are the bowl will need to come off and the residue cleaned, the needle and seat cleaned, and the float hinge freed up.
This is not a difficult job. The carb is simple and field serviceable.
There is also a possibility gas has also gotten into the crankcase. Check the oil level, if it is over full or smells/feels like gas, the oil will need to be changed.
Be very careful cranking on it with fuel blowing out the plug holes! The plug wires are still supplying spark, all it takes is for one to arc, and you've got a fire. Best to pull the coil wire from the distributor cap and ground it with a jumper wire.
But the fuel does need to come out of the cylinders. Remove all the plugs, spin the engine through until the fuel is blown out, then put a couple squirts of light oil in each cylinder to lube the rings.
Once the fuel system is back together, and all the fuel has been cleaned up, you'll need to check for spark. Remove the jumper ground from the coil wire, lay it close to a ground, spin the engine through and watch for spark. The spark should be able to jump 1/2-3/4 inch to ground. If no spark, clean the points. A business card and contact cleaner work well. Once you get spark at the coil, check for spark at the plugs.
Now that you have spark, and the fuel system is cleaned and ready, try to start it again. It will start quickly if all is right. It will smoke until the oil burns out of the cylinders.
