Make sure all the cable connections are clean and tight. Doesn't take much corrosion to make one go "click." Also make sure
battery has full charge. The solenoid could be bad, but that's unlikely. You can try jumping acroos the solenoid with some cables and see if bypassing it gets some starter action.
