Thanks for the reply. I went by a diesel injection pump repair shop and left all the information I had including my request for replacement nozzle retainers. I never heard back, but I may have to drive back and speak to them in person. I currently trying to look for the part number you gave me. If I knew what kind of steel they were made of I could easily make them, but time wise I would rather buy any reasonably priced ones. Of course when you say the word " Diesel" the price rises 5-10 x when compared to carburetor parts.
I have several Dextas I am working of and two of the injector nuts have fissures in the base that are the result of flame erosion. I guess I could cut the eroded parts down and insert a flat washer in the nut to compensate for the difference, but I will try to replace the nut first.
