Parts of that light socket are pretty much generic. You should be able to go to a junkyard and find that clip in any number of lights that use that bulb. Like many parts of any vehicle, generic assemblies like lights, brakes, and the like are purchased ready to install on the assembly line. As such, the little bits and pieces of the assembly are seldom available separately. And, while we are at it, are you one of those people that is ready to sue for any little thing that ticks you off? That adds to the cost of everything that we buy these days.
