Help ID'ing a Farmall

I need help identifying a Farmall tractor. I believe it is a C, as i can almost make it out on the hood. Serial no is 71877, also has 1815 on plate under seat. Battery is not under seat. Narrow front end, gas engine, 4 cylinder. 6 volt charging system. Seat has a patent date of 1949 stamped on the swing-arm. Sorry, don't have tire size written down. Please help, also tell me what else I need to look for for a positive identification of model and year.
