One of the transmissions is probably locked in two gears at once. If you jack up the rear end and turn one wheel forward and the other turns backwards, that's the way they work. Take the shifting lever covers off the transmission, then make sure the slots on the shifting rails that the shifting lever goes into are lined . If there not , you found your problem and the bottom of your shifting levers will need a little work
