Does your Super H have live hydraulic? The Char-Lynn and Behlin P/S systems I have seen with engine driven pumps mount the pump up high and to the left side of the engine. So high on an H/SH a large hole has to be cut in the hood for the top of the reservoir to stick out of the hood. A Farmall M/SM has enough room in that area to keep everything under the hood with no cutting.
Live hydraulic and a priority valve to feed the PS first is the best way to go. No added pump & reservoir.
And look up Jackson Power Steering Co. They make a kit for H & Super H.
I've had a loader on my Stage II Super H for 20 years, (battery under the seat, factory live hyd) and haven't put P/S on it yet, but when I have lots of loader work to do I do use the '51 M that's had P/S since the middle 1950's. I drove it before I started to school in 1st grade because it had P/S.
