I have the free version of Malewarebytes for manually checking for maleware now and then, but also just renewed my subscription with Norton. Paid $60 per year, and the subscription covers 5 devices, including the wife's smart phone. I almost went with Kapersky, as it seems the reviews I saw gave it a slight edge over Norton, but Norton was a better value for me, plus I'm already familiar with it.
Many of these programs now are saying that you no longer need to have multiple programs, like an antivirus AND a maleware program, but I'm keeping both just in case. Also, I have uBlock Origin that also adds a small amount of security.
