good morning out there, ive recently had a loud clanking noise in what seems to be coming from the drive shaft on my SAME explorer 90, this noise is only occouring when im traveling between fields out of four wheel drive, and at speeds greater than 1500 rpm. ive removed the protective shield and dont feel any obvious play in the shaft, although the clearance is pretty close on the oil pan it does not seem 'loose' as soon as i engage 4wd it stops, the drive shaft connects front and back with splined couplers appearing to be scituated with roll pins to hold in place, any insite would be appreciated thanks
