I tried to respond to the comments and questions yesterday but I goofed or got poofed off. but i will try again. I am located in Fannett Texas, directly between Beaumont and Port Arthur. A direct hit by Harvey. An oficial rainfall guage located 100 yards from my property recorded a total of 48.34 inches of rain . I was very fortunate and had no flooding .Mother in law, sister in law, four nephews were flooded, one to the rooftop. All are safe and sound. Yes overall hundreds of cattle and horses were lost. The local farmers, ranchers cut fences and opened gates so the livestock could seek higher ground such as roads and highways.Afterwards they are rounded up ,penned and sorted by brands. Most locals know each others brands as it is common for them to help work each others cattle.I spent Sunday unloading round bales shipped from north Texas and oklahoma to help feed them untill the water resides. We have total devastation in the aea but by the grace of god and evryone pulling together we will pull thru this horrible disaster. I could go on and on with horror stories but don't have the time.Today we began stripping dry wallfrom one nephews house and will go to others as we can.

I think the furthest has been the Two Cylinder 7 in the Amana Colonies last year. Lots of stuff, lots of people. I've also atten
