Was it the LE Brand? I wasn't in the market as I had a 42" Sanyo that was doing just fine. However I had been thinking about a larger screen so that I could see detail better from across the room.
Anyway, was walking from the auto section to the groceries and passed the electronics. Sitting out in the isle was a display working and a couple in the box behind it with a $349.99.99.99 price tag. Not only that it was sitting on a bookcase sort of table that was $99.99.99.99. Bought both and tickled pink. I really needed the bookcase/table thing as it is so wide I had no other furniture upon which to place it. Yes it will wall mount but I chose not to do that.....for one thing it's easier to get to things on the rear.
What gets me about it is that closeups of people and things are life size. I walk up to the front of it and I feel like I am right in the middle of the scene. Really a neat feeling. I don't watch all that much TV and certainly not the news broadcasts, but do have satellite and movie channels with no commercials and that "pays the bills for me". The Weather Channel did cover Harvey very well and having been born and growing up down there I was interested in how things were going.
On the bookcase it is manufactured furniture with a "beaver board" core and vinyl surface. However the overall design and look, the quality of materials and workmanship, precision fitting joints and machining of mating surfaces made it a fitting piece to add to my living room. I was very very surprised to find that in a store like WW which caused me to wonder what other furniture items do they have for sale that might be worth browsing, when in the need, for those of us who don't shop the upper tier stores.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
