The trailer in question is a small 4' X 5' cordwood trailer. It's very easy to adjust the load so there is hardly any tongue weight. I have the same hitch on my 9N and have never felt unsafe with it. For me, the only thing troubling about it is the swinging right and left of the 3 point hitch on the 9N when I'm backing up. Kinda tosses the trailer around. I have no intentions of overworking my tractor or the hitch. The 2" receiver is great, as it opens up so many options to hook up to it.
The Kubota is new to me, and I don't even have it home yet, so I haven't taken the time to see how far the rear wheels are to the 3 point hitch. But I would say, as far as the 9N goes, if I reversed the top so it was over the arms, my trailer would hit the rear tires.
I'm small time compared to you folks. Just use my tractors mostly for getting wood to the splitter, and plowing snow.
