Our local club "West Prince Tired Iron Club" had its annual run today. Unofficial count it 65 in total. The most unique tractor I noticed was an Oliver Super 88 Diesel with a single front wheel. Lots of Massey's some John Deeres a beautiful just restored 4020,a couple David Browns,Cockshutts ,Allis Chalmers Fords, Fergusons just about every brand represented. Big meal at the end of the run. They happened to be going by my house so I opted to come home mid way through to get back to work. Be 7-8 this evening before I'd be home otherwise,have some hay to cut to rot (wasn't worth using for second cut) and chores.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
