We went to a small town tractor pull Labor Day and I saw a crawler sitting at the end of the track-lo and behold it was my ol. buddy Mark. I had to walk out on the track and take his picture. He buried a rock for me 9 years ago that my 580C couldn't. He had his one hoe here and was digging around it and all of a sudden he got in his lowboy truck and was gone-came back with his extended reach hoe. He found the bottom of it. It was my $1000 rock. He said he never found a rock he couldn't bury but this one was close. He was the hardest working guy I ever met. Would put in drainage tile all day and I would see him go by in the dark to dig a grave with his mini-hoe. Sad news he had a stroke about 4 years ago and now his boys took over the operation so Mark plays with his toys now. He pulled his crawler in the 8000 lb. class-did pretty good. Nicest guy you will ever meet!!!---Tee

But, on the other hand, there is a secret language that our mechanical companions readily do speak. It is an interesting form of communication that involves all the senses of the listener. In this series we are going to investigate and learn the basic rudimentary skills of understanding this lingo.
