Wife is presently driving a 2007 grand Cherokee. It has just under120k on it. Since owning it I have replaced a battery, alternator, electric cooling system fan, muffler, ball joints, and blend door for the heat and air. Most have been normal things I would not say I have had any more problems with it than any other vehicle I have owned. One thing I do like is the comfort and ride. Also good in the snow. From what I understand the drive line was designed by Mercedes. That being said I think when this one is spent we will probably get a smaller suv as our daughter is getting older and we don't need such a big suv. Will probably look at Toyota, Honda, Subaru and such.
