I've had several Grand Cherokees in the early to mid-2000's. Wife loved them. Then the prices got up there and we got a 2006 Saturn. Not a bad car, had zero problems. Got rid of that and she has a 2014 Honda CRV. Loves it. Better gas mileage than a Grand Cherokee. My 2 daughters have had 4 GC's between them, including a brand new one. The biggest complaint I have about the 2015 is the paddle shifter. They should have fired the engineer who came up with that. In fact, it's been blamed for a celebrity death. Their fixes for that are just software patches (sounding warning chimes and such). Really didn't solve the problem. But it's the best car I've ever had in the snow. CRV comes close.

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
