Yeah but how many people looking at that $4000 Ford are going to say, "Nah, I'll buy that $25,000 Kubota instead!" I'm thinking the number is close to zero.
It's a lot of worthless foot traffic, tire kickers, and a lot of wasted time for the sales staff.
At least the right kind of Corvette is comparable in value to other vehicles on the lot, including new vehicles. You might convince someone with the cake to buy that Vette that he might be happier in a new pickup truck or SUV. Not so with someone looking at a $4000 tractor on a lot where the next step up is over 5 times more expensive.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
