Name brand dealer won't trade you even money for tractors that are near equal value. They need to take in some cash on the deal or it won't happen. I managed to trade a 3010 Deere to a jockey for an Oliver 1600,but I had to haul,load and unload so they didn't have to touch it. Even then,they had been asking $2500 for the Oliver and put $4500 on the Deere after they got it. Even if they got $4500 by the way,I was way more than satisfied that I got the better end of the bargain.
