Yeah and how about "Looney Tunes, Merry Melodies". Buggs Bunny, Elmer Fudd, Felix the Cat, the stupid moose forget the name, Tom and Jerry, Frances the Talking Mule, to name a few. While you're at it, on the radio: Boston Blackie, The Shadow, Inner Sanctum.
TV: The Texaco Hour or half hour, forget; (Fire Chief regular and Sky Chief "Ethyl" gas, Havoline motor oil sponsor)........Hour with Farfel (the talking dog as I remember it was a dog) and the Ventriloquist....forget his name....................back in the good old days when you only had one sponsor, not like today's 15 every 10 minutes.
Don't forget the comics in particular Dick Tracy and his wrist radio......if the author (I want to say Al Capp but I think he did L'il Abner..........and DAISY) only knew he was ¾ century ahead of his time but was dead on....at least for a short time before technology moved a step further and added pics and all.
