I've got one of those top side creepers, they're great, makes it easier on the old back and knees.
I had a 95 F-350, good truck but they do have a few maintenance issues.
Keep an extra cam sensor on hand, unless you enjoy changing glow plugs don't use Autolite's, pay the cost and get a set of Motorcraft, I went through two sets of Autolite's in 20,000 miles.
There's certain brands of fuel filters with metal bottoms that will short out and burn up the fuel heater in short order.
If you have rust in the filter bowl the fuel tank has delaminated and your in for big problems if you don't replace the tank, these engines like clean uncontaminated fuel.
I have a nephew that own's and works exclusively on 7.3's, the one that gave him the most trouble was one that had rust in the tank.
Other than the glow plug issue and a injector cup oring letting fuel leak into the cooling system I had very little trouble out of the engine.
