ASC and similar places sell Pat's Quick Hitches. Cat. 1 is about $170. Cat 2, about $190. Extends your arms out about 3" so you may need to buy the longer adjustable 3rd member which TSC sells. The added length adds a little "feet" to the foot-pounds equation...implements seem to be a tad heavier.
ASC sells the hitches and includes the adjustable connecting bar in the price (other places charge extra). Here's how it works:
You back up to your implement but stop just before you get to it. Adjust the connecting bar to set your width to suit the implement. Flip the locking lever on the hitch to unlock. Drop your 3 pt and slowly back your arms under the implement pins. Lift the 3 pt. Flip your locking lever to lock. Attach and adjust your 3rd member. Get back on your tractor, lift your 3 pt and go about your business. That simple.

The advice is timeless... so although it isn't necessarily antique tractor related, it will be prominently displayed in our archives to honor those who have the courage to ask and those who have the courage to respond in an honest, positive manner.
