Same here on storage..... elevator is less than a mile from my driveway, dad picked his corn on the ear so there was nothing here to start with, the electric supply was a 60 amp main fuse and wire sized for 40 amp runs for the entire farm.
By the time I got built up to afford new wiring and all, it doesn't pay to put up a dryer and storage for the gpfew years to go. I have a wood grainery that can hold 3000 bu, and got a little free 1500 bu bin I put on a feeding platform so I can store small grains and a bit of dry corn or beans.
