It's not just corporate greed, a lot of the investors have greedy ideas too, they want high returns on their money or they'll sell out the low yielding stock and buy where they believe they'll get better returns. Just saying, not trying to defend big corporations, but they aren't alone in their apparent greed......It's a social disease that affects a lot of monied people.
