To start, I DO NOT use pot!
They have always been there sense the 60's and before......They just hid it because it was illegal. That's why it's no longer call "driving while intoxicated" and is now "driving under the influence". Intoxicated means drunk, under influence means booze of drugs. In 1982 while stationed at Ft Bliss TX, right there on the Tex/Mex border my unit did a 100% pi$$ test first work day after a holiday weekend. All ranks, 81% positive. Heck of a lot more people are smoking pot than you think!
If you bother to research it a lot of folks were smoking pot before it was demonized by a chemical company. They wanted to stop hemp growing to promote this new stuff called nylon. Once demonized they started claiming farmers raising hemp that was used to make rope and CLOTH for clothing were hiding pot plants among their hemp crops. And yea they greased a lot of politicians palms while doing this.
IMO it should be legal. For the states where it's still illegal and the federal government we are spending billions (that's with a B) of dollars a year and not even making a dent in the market. Even though I don't use it I know that in my rural area it's readily available along with all the other illegal drugs. They, law enforcement, from the DEA on down ARE NOT winning the "war on drugs". Make it legal, tax it like you tax booze. Save us poor taxpayers a few bucks!

Rollins, son of the landowner, used the tractor. In the winter 1985, while in his possession the engine block cracked and was unrepairable. He had told my father
