: : I have a serial number(V950/67161)but I am having a hard time finding the year of production and the model,if any one can help it would be great. : The serial # you listed is a l959-61. For much more information on David Browns check Ingemar's homepage I believe that the V950 refers to the model. The tractor concerned would be a 950 Implematic. It would have been made in 1960. In that year serial numbers 65372 to 74103 were built. This suggests that your tractor was built in the early part of that year. Note that between 1960 and 1963 David Brown built tractors for the Oliver Corporation of America. I have no idea how these tractors were numbered, but they are distinguishable generally by their badging and by their colour scheme. Olivers were painted green and white, whereas for UK and European markets they were predominantly finished in 'hunting pink' (really a bright red!). I hope this helps.
