i was mowing roadsides in a subdivision up in town, one of my regular cash jobs, somebody had had a large construction trailer parked last time on the side of the road, steep hilly country so he had a large rock holding the trailer in place, now the grass has grown 2 feet tall and more and thick as fleas on a hound dog, yep, he left the big rock, tore the slide off the side of my brush hog and because i had re welded it a couple of years ago it didnt just break off it collapsed the side in a nice big vertical u, which pulled the rear of it down. i beat it out last nite and put a temporary skid on it, the blades clear, so i can finish the job, i hope, then its parts, i dont want to run one like that, i use the thing 3 months out of the year, so i need to come up with a solid one, i have a old ford brand, i dont know who made those but it needs seals, blades driveshaft and some body work, may drag that up and look at that , i had it for parts as its heavy duty and it was one of those 'ill get to it someday' projects
