Nice to see another old Ford in a scenic setting. According to any research I have done on the engines, the Mercury and Ford pickups all had just the 239 Ford flathead V8, not the bigger 255 Mercury engine. I've read that some U.S. versions had a flathead six option.
My plans for this truck at this time only go as far as seeing if the engine will run. After that, who knows?

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
