From my experience with rim rust I don't think I need to worry about these in my lifetime. I've seen far worse. I doubt the inside has any rust at all. Would you believe I had a 2390 Case with the big 16.5x16s up front. They were tubeless with chloride in them. When I removed the tires to replace they must have been 15 years old and the rims were clean and rust free, inside and out.
As much as I hate rust, this 2140 needs the weight for traction. It would cost a fortune to replace that chloride with cast iron so I don't see myself changing unless the tires ever need replacement. At that point I might consider some alternative.
