Well, I checked the Engine OIL, and Coolant, on my 51 Ford. Removed Air Cleaner, cranked engine over, there was plenty of draw / suction on top of carb.....:)
No spark.......shall check into....probably run a hot wire from the battery to the Coil:
I have a complete drop in Engine from a 1951.....with all electrical still intact:
