Thanks. Interesting you'd bring this up now. I just ordered the last book you recommended - mosquito fleet/Bern Keating - on Friday. It has to come from interlibrary as there's no local copies. Should be at my local branch soon. Maybe today. I used to buy books but gave that up. County library is 3 1/2 blocks from my house. Walk there. I keep telling myself I'm going to expand my horizons and read more about the European war. Eastern front - Kursk, Stalingrad, Caucasus, etc. But always revert back to Pacific/naval war. Someday... Just finished this one yestterday. Simple read. Nothing new. Just a nice collection of stories from guys who were there.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
