I had a nice breakfast with fellow YT'er (Ron) in Lakeville MN this morning.
It was then back to getting the big iron running on the fuel injection .The unit is now runable, and is going to start on a 72 hour run to get everything up to temperature before running tests. The unit has pre combustion chambers a lot like the old Diesels did, to shoot a flame down into the main cylinder for ignition. We can see the cylinder pressures and where they occur on the display, so that really helps. I did find it interesting that differences in the pre combustion chamber tuning caused the ignition of the main cylinder to vary.
