Not very often I figure it out before everyone else, so today was a good day. At work I was in the maintenance shop making my daily visit, the first thing I see is a pretty new looking Stihl chainsaw sitting there so I pick it up,look it over, see how it feels when the guy on the other side of the table informs me that the chain is stuck and won't work.(don't get ahead of me on this), so I get me a wrench and start to take the clutch cover off to see what's a matter when other maintenance guy comes by, says I already did all that clutch just won't turn. So I tighten the nuts back up, put it down, stared at it for a second then thought, I know he released the chain brake, so I reach over give it a snap and guess what? Chainsaw works again. He told me to go back to my lab and quit making him look silly. Apparently all his saws are as old as mine. I said the only reason I thought of it was cause I watched a guy using a saw with a brake on it.
