When I had a 1020 Deere for sale, somebody started talking about trade and a boat. I told him I didn't want a boat. He said no,he knew where there was a boat that he wanted and the guy said the only thing he'd take in trade on that was a tractor and loader. Then he wanted me to come down on the price because he said if he gave me what I wanted,he wouldn't be saving much on the boat. Like I owed him some favor or something. GO BUY THE BOAT AND GET OUT OF MY YARD!
I called on a tractor yesterday that I'm going to look at. The guy said he was taking the ad down since I sounded like I was real interested. He said all he'd been getting anyway was calls from people wanting to trade things for it,just like you said.
