You have two choices: JB Weld (epoxy), which I've never tried but have seen several posts testifying to it's effectiveness, and arc welding with cast iron rod. See the link below for more details on welding cast, as well as posts on the subject on the Farmall board. Many thanks, Paul. I've just bought a "salvage" Oliver Super 88 with that problem.
