Everrit Tractor is having an auction Thursday. I took some things up to sell. I saw some things I thought you Yters might like to see:

Minnie Moe Manure spreader:

Allis-Chalmers Manure Spreader: If you look close the original paint is still on the beater. I do not remember seeing very many AC spreaders. This one may follow me home if I am lucky:

JD manure Spreader: LOL Had to show one of "MY" color.

A wood McCormick-Deering Drop seeder: It looks to be all original other than the tongue having the hitch changed for a tractor. They did not shorted the tongue so I bet the Amish will buy it and switch it back to horse drawn:

IH 37 Disk: I have not seen anyone put as large of disks on one of these LIGHT disks. The disk blades only clear the frame by maybe 1/2 inch. The disk blades are used but they are really thick. I would bet 1/4 of an inch at least. They should out last the rest of the disk:

Case International 96 rake: I never knew they still made the New Idea belt driven rake under the CIH badge. The hitch sure looks different:

Allis-Chalmers 160: This was built by Renault. I have only seen one or two of them. So the tractor itself is kind of a rarity. While looking it over I noticed the front grille guard. It looks factory. What is different than what I have seen is how it "lifts" up to be taken off. Kind of neat:

So I hope you enjoyed walking along with me gawking at the equipment.

P.S. I am under orders to SELL more than I BUY. LOL The last few times I brought more home than I sold.

Today's Featured Article - Listening to Your Tractor - by Curtis Von Fange. Years ago there was a TV show about a talking car. Unless you are from another planet, physically or otherwise, I don’t think our internal combustion buddies will talk and tell us their problems. But, on the other hand, there is a secret language that our mechanical companions readily do speak. It is an interesting form of communication that involves all the senses of the listener. In this series we are going to investigate and learn the basic rudimentary skills of understanding this lingo. ... [Read Article]
