My neighbor bought a 7060 new in 1976 and still uses it for lighter work. He hasn’t had all that much trouble with it but he is very good at preventative maintenance. I have run it for him off and on through the years.
I have a 1086 I bought new in 1978 that now has 17000 hours on the clock. Can’t say it has been trouble free but it has served me well.
I also have owned a Deere 4650 for the past seven years.
The 7060 and 1086 or 1486 will do an OK job, you can get used to the cabs, but if I was you I would pony up and get a Deere. There is a good reason why Deeres bring more money. Oh, the 7060 has the most leg room, the 1086-1486 has the least.
